She might be one of the biggest stars in Hollywood, but she’s also someone who has nothing to hide. Amy Schumer admits that she had such a bad experience while using Ozempic that she couldn’t even function normally in her day to day life. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

While on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen this past week, Amy says that the first time she used Ozempic turned out to be the last time too.

As many readers probably already know, many Hollywood stars have been using the diabetic drug as a weight loss tool. But for Amy, the side effects were so strong that she just couldn’t function normally.

She said, “I was one of those people that felt so sick and couldn’t play with my son. I was so skinny, and he’s throwing a ball at me and [I couldn’t].”

If that weren’t enough, Amy also called out all of the other Hollywood stars who have been using the drug but have failed to tell the truth about it. She slammed those who have said that their rapid weight loss has been because of a change in their diets.

She also stressed the importance of celebrities like herself to remain authentic when it comes to the things they reveal in public.

Amy Schumer – Calls Out Other Celebrities For Lying

Amy said, “Everyone and their mom is gonna try it. Everyone has been lying saying, ‘Oh, smaller portions.’ Like, shut the f–k up. You are on Ozempic or one of those things, or you got work done. Just stop.”

Some of the other stars who have been honest about taking Ozemics have included Chelsea Handler, Gracie McGraw (daughter of Tim McGraw), and Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi. Amy thinks there are more stars out there who have used Ozempic but just don’t want to admit it.

Novo Nordisk, the pharmaceutical company behind Ozempic, have said that the drug is used to treat type 2 diabetes, improve blood sugar control, and reduce the risk of major cardiovascular events in adults.
