Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt continue to make headlines for their custody battle. That war involves five of their six children: Pax, 17; Zahara, 16; Shiloh, 15, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 13. (At 20, Maddox is old enough to make his own decisions.)

While recent attention has gone to Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s custody war, years ago the two soared into Hollywood’s spotlight for their unexpected romance. Jolie and Pitt met on the set of their film, “Mr. And Mrs. Smith.” At the time, Brad’s marriage to Jennifer Aniston seemed strong.

But then came the bombshell. Pitt and Aniston split, with their divorce soon followed by photos of Brad and Angelina. Jolie’s and Pitt’s romance resulted in six kids and a marriage. And then, just as Hollywood seemed to have finally found the ultimate golden couple in Angelina and Brad, news of their split soared around the world. 

And that began the on-going custody battle. Now, after years of that war, rumors of new romances for both Jolie and Pitt have swirled. Angelina, for instance, has gotten linked to The Weeknd, per Elle. And Brad repeatedly has faced dating reports in what seems like a revolving door of attractive single women.

But do either Brad Pitt or Angelina Jolie feel ready to prioritize romance and go public? For Angelina and The Weeknd (real name: Abel Tesfaye), the time to confirm dating rumors has not yet arrived. And if those rumors do become reality, it would result in Jolie’s first public romance since she and Brad divorced. 

As for Pitt, an insider told Us Weekly that the actor has enjoyed “some dates.” And apparently those occasions have gone well, with Brad experiencing “some fun over the past few years.” But the source did not reveal any specific names or even plans for Pitt to go public with his romances.

“This whole war with Angelina has really taken its toll [on Brad],” added the insider. “Thankfully he has his own incredible willpower to count on, plus a wonderful support group and the tools he’s learned in recovery when times get super tough.” And don’t look for the 57-year-old actor to hop on the dating bandwagon in the near future, according to the source. 

“Brad is working hard and staying as positive as he can be right now,” revealed the insider. But he hasn’t made dating a “priority” right now. “He’s just not mentally ready and doesn’t know when he next will be,” summed up the source.
