Brad Pitt has someone in his corner as his custody case with Angelina Jolie looms. The hearing for Brad Pitt and Angelina’s contentious custody trial was scheduled to begin in private on Monday and expected to continue until October 23. At least one insider thinks everything will turn out fine in the end—the pair simply have too many kids for it not to!

Actress Jacqueline Bisset is Angelina Jolie’s British godmother and according to her, the power couple will “sort it out eventually,” in spite of both sides calling in tons of character witnesses to plead their cases. Bisset was friends with Angelina’s late mother Marcheline Bertrand.

The Hollywood Power Celebs Are Embroiled In A Pitched Custody Battle

She is on record with the DailyMail.com saying that whatever ill will the pair have between them that they will always put their six children first. By the looks of things, however, they each want to be the one to do that, without the other.

Court documents filed last week show the couple is far from an agreement on how to raise their kids. On top of that, Angelina recently tried to remove the judge overseeing the case.

Brad opposed her sneaky move and his legal team described her maneuver as a “thinly-veiled attempt by Jolie to delay the adjudication of long-pending custody issues.”

Angelina Jolie Is Trying To Subvert The Pair’s Custody Case According To Brad Pitt’s Lawyers

Angelina has used other tactics to alter the proceedings including asking for the removal of two experts who were called to testify. This included the court-appointed forensic psychologist charged with evaluating the children. To what end she tried to interfere with the proceedings is something she hasn’t commented on publicly.

Pitt is reportedly seeking 50/50 joint physical and legal custody of their kids and a source told Us Weekly that Jolie does not agree with Brad’s request and they are no longer participating in family therapy.

The insider reportedly said Angelina wants to raise the kids outside of the US, “’The younger kids are in school in Los Angeles, which Angelina has always been opposed to. They are very smart and are eager to attend school in person [amid the COVID-19 pandemic].”

The pair had reached a custody agreement in 2018 but it appears the terms were not adhered to hence the need for a trial.

Jacqueline Bisset Has Every Confidence That Her Goddaughter Will Do Right By Her Children

Jacqueline’s credits include Airport and The Detective and she won a Golden Globe in 2013 for her role in the BBC miniseries Dancing on the Edge.

Last year and Jolie were photographed having dinner at the world-famous Brasserie Lipp in Paris. A source told People magazine about the two women, “They’re very close, and Jacqueline is someone Angelina has admired for a long time.”

Of their six children, Maddox, 19, is the sole adult with the rest minors: Pax, 16, Zahara, 15, Shiloh, 14, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 12.
