Brad Pitt New Scandal - Allegedly Proposing Marriage To A Woman & Ripping Her Off, Breaks Internet

Brad Pitt is breaking the internet and it appears to involve a catfishing scam. A Texas woman is suing the celeb stud for $100,000, alleging that he made her swoon with talk of marriage and then took her for a huge amount of money in a charity scam. Pitt’s lawyers hit back saying the woman was tricked by an online scammer.

Kelli Christina, a health care CEO from Plano, Texas, alleges in court papers that she ponied up $40,000 in order for the hottie to appear at five events that she says she arranged for his charity Make It Right Foundation, helps victims of Hurricane Katrina.

But that’s not all. The woman states that she and “Brad” developed much more than a professional relationship, they went as far as to engage in “discussions of marriage,” according to The New York Post.

According to Pitt’s lawyer, the reality is that Christina was conned by a cyber scammer who pretended to be the Brad Pitt, according to court papers. On Wednesday his lawyers filed a motion to dismiss the case in a Texas court, saying that he had never interacted with Christina.

“Neither the Make It Right Entities nor Mr. Pitt entered into an agreement with Plaintiff,” the documents stated.

The documents continued, “Rather, as [Christina] herself has acknowledged, it appears [Christina’s] communications about any agreement were apparently with one or more individuals unlawfully posing as — but not in any way affiliated with — defendants online,” the motion to dismiss states.

“By [Christina’s] own admissions, the communications she now alleges to have had with Mr. Pitt . . . were actually between Plaintiff and one or more individuals posing as, in Plaintiff’s words, ‘fake Brad Pitts’ and not in any way affiliated with the Make It Right Foundation.”

Brad Pitt’s lawyers Want The Lawsuit Against Him Dismissed

The original complaint was filed in the Texas Eastern District Court and declared, “In 2018, Plaintiff Kelli Christina was approached by Brad Pitt for the purposes of raising funds for the Make It Right Foundation, a charitable cause to benefit victims of Hurricane Katrina.”

“Kelli Christina was persuaded by Brad Pitt’s presentation of the allegedly meritorious cause. Plaintiff and Brad Pitt . . . entered into a business agreement with specific terms and conditions.”

According to the arrangement, Christina would organize the events to raise money for Make It Right Foundation’s charitable causes. But she now claims that “Pitt” canceled at the last minute for multiple events, guaranteeing he would make them up, and kept the $40,000 appearance fee.

But Christina is not buying the spin Pitt’s team is selling and has vowed to keep on fighting.

“We have been litigating since March 2020 and I am pushing back on media,” she told The New York Post. “This lawsuit is important for the country so I will continue to fight Brad Pitt and Make it Right Foundation. I have 113 pages of organized discovery to support the charges and allegations. I wouldn’t expect this lawsuit to go away easily.”
