Bam Margera – Has The Conflict Been Resolved?

The internal conflict among the founding members of the Jackass franchise appears to have been resolved.
Bam Margera’s Reasons For Issuing The Lawsuit

Bam alleged that Jeff Tremaine, Johnny Knoxville, and Spike Jones came to him while he was in rehab and pressured him into signing a “wellness agreement” back in 2019, in order to participate in the upcoming ‘Jackass Forever’ mo. But, Bam alleged he didn’t have the chance to run it by an attorney.

According to Bam, the agreement involved him taking regular drug and alcohol tests, and he was forced to take a cocktail of prescription drugs that left him depressed and drained, and restricted his ability to travel, work and live his life.

Eventually, Bam was kicked out from the fourth installment of ‘Jackass’ for failing to abide by the conditions in the agreement, but according to the documents, Bam was thrown out for testing positive for Adderall, although he also claimed it was prescribed for him for a decade by his doctor.
Was Bam Margera‘s Firing Discriminating?

The lawsuit alleges that firing Bam for taking Adderall was “inhumane” and “discriminatory.” He also likened it to Britney Spears’ conservatorship case. The lawsuit also alleged that he was being deprived of his fair share of profits.

In a statement to EW at the time of filing, Margera said, “My lawsuit isn’t just about compensation. It’s about treating people with mental health and addiction issues in an honest manner and not taking advantage of their disabilities to rip them off.”
