‘Baywatch’ Star & David Hasselhoff’s Ex-Wife, Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff, Dies Of Suicide

According to TMZ, Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff, former actress and ex-wife to Baywatch star David Hasselhoff, has passed away at the age of 62, due to suicide.

The woman was found at her home in Hollywood Hills with a self-inflicted gunshot wound, the evening of Wednesday, March 5. As per the report, no suicide note was left.

Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff’s Tumultuous Marriage

Pamela was married to David, now 72 years of age, from 1989 to 2006. She filed for divorce from her husband, noting irreconcilable differences. 

The two had a difficult divorce as they battled over spousal support until 2017, over 11 years after they initially ended their marriage.

They also shared two daughters, Taylor Ann and Hayley, and the couple also had a massive custody battle over the girls, as well. In 2007, when Taylor was 17 and Hayley was 14, David was awarded “primary, physical and sole custody”.

This happened after a video emerged of The Hoff, shirtless, and drunk, on the floor, while eating a hamburger.

There was a voice of a young girl in the background urging him not to drink, which was speculated to be one of his daughters.

After the tape was leaked, the star stated he was a recovering alcoholic and had a relapse.

David did release a statement (via TMZ) about his ex-wife’s passing, saying, “Our family is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Pamela Hasselhoff. “

He goes on to note, “We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time but we kindly request privacy as we grieve and navigate through this challenging time.”

Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff’s Legacy

Pamela appeared in movies like Francis Ford Coppola’s 1983 “Rumble Fish”, which starred Mickey Rourke, Diane Lane, and Matt Dillon, as well as television roles Sirens, The Fall Guy, T.J. Hooker, Knight Rider, and The Young and the Restless.

She also played Kaye Morgan for about a decade on Baywatch.

Bach-Hasselhoff is survived by her daughters, Taylor Ann (34) and Hayley (32), as well as a granddaughter, named London.
