Beloved WFTV Reporter Angela Jacobs Mourned On Social Media

Beloved WFTV Reporter Angela Jacobs Mourned On Social MediaAngela Jacobs worked for WFTV Channel 9 but she passed away on Tuesday this week. The attractive and professional journalist is mourned by many people as she had a wide career. Starting out nine years ago with Eyewitness News, she became a well-known face. Even before that, she was loved and respected when she worked in Tamba Bay. Often she reported on sports news.

Angela Jacobs Died From Cancer

Way too many famous faces have passed from cancer. Celebrity Big Brother winner, Sarah Harding passed away from breast cancer last year.  Well, the same disease took the life of a very talented woman. A lot of people probably recall seeing the vivacious reporter, host, and anchor from Wisconsin through to Orlando, FL. Certainly,  she became a familiar face at the NCAA. Now, her family has said goodbye to her.

Angela Jacobs might not have been very young, but she still had a lot of energy and it seems cruel when people pass away before their life is fully complete. So, across social media, many people either mourn her because they saw her on the TV, or they worked with her. The first news that arrived came from Nancy Alvarez, a friend who lives in Florida. Later, she couldn’t help but revisit her death again.

Angela Jacobs Friend Explains More About Her Passing

Initially, Nancy talked about how Angela really took part in loving and caring for other cancer sufferers. Then later, she returned and talked about how the reporter was “private” about cancer. And then she elaborated on just how special her friend was. Describing her passing as “peaceful and as beautiful as ever,” Nancy said, “She fought a valiant, dignified fight against breast cancer often masking difficult moments behind her brave, radiant smile.”

Nancy also talked about how Angela Jacobs went from being a great “sports anchor,” to a news anchor without any problem. However, what really mattered, seems to be that“she cared deeply about her stories and the people in them.” From other things that she said, she was prayerfully let go by her family. Well, the post ended up with very many comments, and the list keeps on growing.

Tributes Pour In For WFTV Channel 9 Reporter

Angela Jacobs clearly impressed a lot of people. WFTV 9 carried a special tribute to her as well. On Facebook, Fox 35’s Amy Kaufeldt wrote, “My love and prayers to you, sweet friend. We are stronger together and Angela was so incredibly blessed with your friendship.”

Meanwhile, people who saw her on the TV also commented. One tribute read, “Oh this makes me so very sad. She was definitely one of the good ones! I always enjoyed watching her on the news. She seemed like the perfect person to be best friends with!! 🥰

Amazed that Angela Jacobs worked almost until her death, another person wrote, “Oh my I’m so shocked. She was just at the desk a few weeks ago. I had no idea her cancer was not in remission. May God rest her soul. 🙏🏻💕.”

Amongst thousands of comments, this one also arrived: “She was tough as nails and classy. I truly thought she would conquer this. It isn’t fair. Rest In Peace dear Angela.”
