Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez carefully planned their three-day wedding celebration this weekend. The event follows their elopement, with the goal to share their love with family and friends. But all that planning fell apart when Ben’s mother got injured.

Ben Affleck And Jennifer Lopez – Wedding Prep Includes Ambulance!

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck will tie the knot for the second time at his estate in Georgia this weekend. But on Friday, an ambulance rushed to the scene. And initial reports claimed that one of the newlyweds’ children had gotten injured. However, Page Six now reports that Ben’s mother got hurt.

Affleck’s mom, Christopher Anne Boldt, fell off a dock at his home. And the severe injury resulted in a need for the ambulance. The original reports that a child had gotten hurt seemed to stem from the fact that Ben’s mom got taken to St. Joseph Candler children’s hospital in Savannah.

After Affleck’s mother arrived at the hospital, paparazzi snapped photos of Ben supporting his mother. And the actor appeared nervous, smoking cigarettes. However, Ben got support as well from his wife Jennifer Lopez.

Ben Affleck – Attends To Injured Mom Amid Wedding Prep

What does a celebrity couple wear when they need to rush to the hospital? The Justice League actor, 50, and the What To Expect When You’re Expecting actress, 53, wore noticeably different outfits. For instance, Jennifer chose an Alice McCall gingham sundress and held a Dior bag. In contrast, Ben opted for a purple T-shirt and sported a cap on backwards. But celebrity fashion watchers can still look forward to designer wedding attire this weekend. For example, Lopez reportedly will march down the aisle in a customized Ralph Lauren gown. 

Meanwhile, friends and family have arrived for the wedding. For instance, Lopez and Affleck made sure that their children enjoyed their visit to the estate, taking them shopping in Savannah. And Ben’s brother, Casey Affleck, also got spotted. Just like Ben, Casey headed straight to a Dunkin’ Donuts for refreshment.

Celebrity life coach Jay Shetty will serve as the officiant for the wedding. Jennifer knows Jay from appearing on his podcast, called On Purpose. And she also teamed up with Shetty to publicize her movie, Marry Me. Shetty officiated four weddings to help hype Lopez’s movie. That experience should help his role at Ben’s and Jennifer’s wedding this weekend go smoothly!
