Ben Affleck Doubles Down On Jennifer Garner Slams, Claims He’s the Victim

Celebrity news reveals that hours after Ben Affleck threw his ex-wife under the bus for his own boorishness, he’s doubling down crying, “his feelings are hurt because his remarks about blaming his ex-wife for his alcoholism were taken out of context from his Howard Stern interview — although, he’s not explaining what he really meant,” according to TMZ. It’s called playing the victim, being tone deaf, and being so up one’s behind that he can’t see past his self-aggrandizement.

In case you missed it Affleck told Howard Stern that being married to Jennifer Garner was a “trap” and he boozed himself into unconsciousness nightly because he had no better coping mechanisms.

So, in Ben’s world, “he’s pissed because the only thing that got headlines was this statement … Part of why I started drinking was because I was trapped. I was like, ‘I can’t leave because of my kids, but I’m not happy, what do I do?’ And what I did was like drink a bottle of scotch and fall asleep on the couch, which turned out not to be the solution.’’ Incredible–does he want an award for being an inadequate father who drank himself into a stupor instead of fixing his problems?

Ben kept sticking his foot in it, at one point complaining about “clickbait” headlines. By the way he never took responsibility for saying what he said, and as far as we know he didn’t apologize to the mother of his children for dragging her into this mess. Based on his incredibly low level of self-awareness, Jennifer shouldn’t hold her breath.
