Shiloh Jolie-Pitt Aches To See Dad Brad Pitt Even As Siblings Move On Without Him

Christmas has always been a time when many people look forward to seeing loved ones and spending time with them – singing a song or two or having a chat about more than just the weather and work, but it gets complicated when there’s a fierce custody battle being waged within the family.

Shiloh Jolie-Pitt has recently traveled to Rome, London and her L.A. home base alongside her glamorous mom and siblings, but for the holidays, she would rather spend it with her dad Brad Pitt.

The five-year divorce battle is still ongoing (even though it nearly came to an end in May when Judge Ouderkirk granted Brad Pitt partial custody over his five minor children). Judge Ouderkirk was later disqualified from the case and his ruling overturned. Brad Pitt’s petition in October to have the court uphold his partial-custody win was denied, thereby further prolonging the bitter custody battle.

Since the ruling was thrown out, it’s been understood that Brad Pitt has had limited contact with his six children, among whom Shiloh is reportedly the most impacted.

“Shiloh’s desperate to see her father,” the source noted, “but the circumstances make it impossible, other than a quick trip to his house here and there.”

The source added that Shiloh is daddy’s girl, while her other siblings — especially Maddox, with whom Brad famously has tension with since their alleged 2016 altercation, which eventually led to Jolie filing for divorce – are growing accustomed to their distance and estrangement from their father.

“Sometimes, Shiloh is the only one [of her siblings] who doesn’t seem to be willing to turn her back on Brad,” the source said, adding that the father-of-six is desperate to reconnect with his children.

Even as Shiloh yearns to see the entire family getting along again, Brad Pitt is reportedly working hard to heal the breach that has long separated him from ex Jolie.

“Brad tried so hard to fix things, but Maddox and even Pax both blame him for the family fallout and refuse to see him,” the source shared. “It’s only Shiloh who defends her dad. She really wants them all to spend Christmas together, and she’s having a hard time accepting it won’t happen.”

This is coming after media outlets revealed that Brad is unhappy with the tension existing between him and his wife.

The 57-year-old actor split from the “Those Who Wish Me Dead” actress in 2016. Their divorce was finalized in 2019. However, their ongoing custody struggle has made it hard for the family to amicably move on.

“Brad hopes that one day he and Angelina find a way to forgive each other and move forward, for the kids’ sakes if nothing else,” the source spilled. “He hates all the bad blood.”
