How do Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck feel about each other after tying the knot in 2022? An insider told OK magazine that the couple’s differences make them “get on each other’s nerves.” And the source observed that the two seem to hit “hills and valleys” in their roller-coaster relationship.

For instance, Jennifer and Ben recently headed to St. Barts for a relaxing vacation. But Ben’s hopes for a peaceful break faded amid his stressful and very public bickering with Jennifer. And their arguments included their schedule.

“Ben wanted this vacation to be relaxing,” explained the insider. “But Jennifer’s up at 6 a.m. dictating their schedule. She’s extremely picky about everything, from maid service to where to eat dinner.”

As a result, Ben can’t always manage to “hide his annoyance. And that’s what people were seeing in St. Barts,” observed the source about the argument that went viral between Affleck and Lopez.

However, the insider also claimed that Lopez and Affleck both showed the tension amid working on “Unstoppable: The Anthony Robles Story.” And Jennifer longs for success in the form of an Oscar nod. But Ben feels equally tense about the film from his best friend Matt Damon’s new studio.

Because of those factors, Jennifer and Ben feel “under a lot of pressure to dispel the notion that together they’re box-office poison. They have a lot riding on this,” added the insider. “And Jennifer is obsessed with every detail and has been bothering Ben.”

However, the source revealed that Affleck truly adores Lopez. And the insider summed up, “It takes a lot of energy for Ben to be married to Jennifer. But he loves her. They get on each other’s nerves and then it’s amazing. It’s always hills and valleys with them.”

However, a different source expressed concern that Lopez seems to ignore Affleck’s desire for privacy. And that insider feels the situation seems confusing. For instance, Jennifer shared that she and Ben suffered from “PTSD from all the scrutiny the first time around. And then in the next breath she’s promoting this movie about their relationship,” added the source.

But the insider issued a warning. And the source claimed that Jennifer seems “so caught up in this romance fantasy, no one can tell her to put the brakes on, not even Ben. All the social media posts and constant PDA, it’s already over the top. Now using her marriage and private moments to promote her album is serving her relationship up on a platter for the public to devour again.”

And those on the inside predict “it will blow up in her face.” But a third source revealed how Affleck’s buddy Matt Damon feels. And Damon has attempted to seem “publicly supportive for Ben’s sake. But the fact is he hates the way J.Lo treats his buddy and can no longer hold his tongue!” shared the insider.

And overall, the source feels that Ben “always seems to be in the doghouse. It’s obvious something needs to change,” added the insider. “But when Matt started giving Ben advice, he totally blew up.”
