Where did Blake Shelton go wrong? We know Shelton wasn’t always a stellar partner when he was with his ex Miranda Lambert.
But, in The Voice star’s defense, his relationship with Gwen Stefani was doomed from the start. Aside from being single, the dynamic duo really had nothing in common.

It’s no secret how different Blake and Gwen are from each other, that’s why their romance gained so much attention. But, sadly that also seems to be why they are drifting apart now and going their separate ways.
Gwen Stefani confessed in not so many words that Blake Shelton was a rebound after her exhausting divorce from Rossi.
The No Doubt singer opened up about Shelton after they began dating and explained, “He basically told me what was going on with him. We just started this friendship. I wasn’t trying to start a relationship. I was just trying to not die. There was no plan. It was an incredible gift to be able to have a friend.”

Sadly, it sounds like Blake and Gwen’s romance was more or less just a rebound for both of them. Now that the dust has settled, the couple doesn’t have a whole lot in common other than being divorced.

This month a source close to the couple told Life & Style, “Lately, they’ve been at odds about everything from career decisions and the parenting of her three boys to where they spend most of their time.
The tension continues to grow, and Blake and Gwen are drifting apart as a result.”

They never seemed compatable. They are way different. It was all very fake from the start. Gwen is all about being noticed and her fake looks. Blake is a country boy
I was never a fan of Gwen, but actually not even a big fan of Blake but liked him on the voice!!! Gwen is so full of herself and still wears the same hideous clothes that she wore almost 40 years ago!!! Ugh
I agree 100% she’s driven. Has to be the center of attention.the outfits she wore on the voice were hideous. Poor Reba having to watch her prancing around all the time on the voice.

I am so sad for Blake that he let this happen to him…he’s a country boy and I like him and his music. Gwen belongs in California. Why she thought she could fit in with country folks is beyond my comprehension. Hoping they split so they can be themselves and enjoy life.
I just hate to see them at odds. It is extremely hard to blend a family. Gwen is a great mom & Blake is a wonderful step dad. I pray they work all issues through.

I can relate to what you are saying about not not believing it, until you hear it from them. This is how I was when MIRANDA &
BLAKE brokeup. Even though they wrote this note to their fans “together” and released that to the media. Even though it was from them ,–I didn’ t want to believe it.
They were 2 Country artist, they would sing together on each of their concert shows. They were both raised in rural areas, simular backgrounds, it seemed “right” for each other. Besides when I saw them perform together/they seemed like they were meant to be together, seemed so HAPPY/besides they were so cute together! Plus I had seen Miranda perform in a live show, I liked her back then. I hated it that they broke up. I didn’ t want Gwen getting between them. Eventually I got used to Blake w/Gwen. Then I tired of Blake on the The Voice/his ego started to show & need of being the center of attention. Now I see both Gwen & Blake wanting to be center of attention. I see Blake’ s history in his past as NOT able to be faithful to his wife’ s. I’ m still glad he’ s not on The Voice, I’ m glad she isn’ t on The Voice, I never have liked her fashion designs either/so wild & gaudy.
