Brad Pitt Estranged From His Adult Children, Still Has Visitation Rights To Younger Kids

Brad Pitt’s children are sadly aging out of his care, with a source revealing that the reality is hurting the ‘Ocean’s Eleven’ star.

Just a couple weeks ago, his daughter Shiloh celebrated her 18th birthday by dropping the Pitt in her surname. You can tell she’s been waiting for the day she’ll have the legal power to do so.

Brad Pitt is deep in the world of F1 racing, and as a result has limited time to spend with the younger kids who are still required to spend time with him.

This is apparently not sitting right with the 60-year-old A-list star since he’s more or less lost contact with his older children.

“He has virtually no contact with the adult kids. His engagement with the younger kids is more limited in recent months because of his filming schedule,” a source recently revealed.

Pitt shares six kids with Jolie, 48: Maddox, 22, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 18, Pax, 20, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 15.

The source continued: “[Angelina] has the kids most of the time, but per their agreement, he has visitation with the younger kids.”

The insider previously claimed that Pitt is aware and hurting that Shiloh dropped his name during a chat with PEOPLE in June.

“He’s aware and upset that Shiloh dropped his last name,” the source said, adding, “The reminders that he’s lost his children, is of course not easy for Brad. He loves his children and misses them. It’s very sad.”

However, the source claimed that he’s finding joy in his relationship with girlfriend Ines de Ramon, even though the reality of his estrangement from his older children “pains him.”

Apart from Shiloh, Pitt and Jolie’s teenage daughter Vivienne appears to want to follow in her older sister’s footsteps.

While it isn’t clear whether the change was made legally, Vivienne listed her name in the musical ‘Playbill,’ which she helped her mom produce, as Vivienne Jolie, instead of Vivienne Jolie-Pitt.

Pitt is currently in location in Europe shooting scenes for his upcoming racing movie ‘F1.’
