Priscilla Presley – Challenges Late Daughter’s Will That Left Riley Keough as the Sole Trustee of Her Estate

It wasn’t long after Lisa Marie Presley’s tragic death that the singer’s mother, Priscilla, sued to have an amendment her daughter made to her will before her death declared null.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lisa Marie claimed that she “had very little or nothing left of her inheritance from her father,” even though she did own Graceland as well as Elvis’ personal effects.

THR further reported that Lisa Marie’s ownership of a significant stake in Elvis’ intellectual property rights means that her heirs could benefit from it in the form of “post-mortem book deals and movies.”

At the time of Lisa Marie’s passing, Riley Keough and her 14-year-old twin sisters Harper and Finley inherited Graceland from their mother, but Priscilla was reportedly unhappy at Keough being the sole trustee of the estate and filed a petition to challenge her late daughter’s will, questioning a 2016 amendment that replaced her as a co-trustee with Riley Keough and her late brother Benjamin Keough.

However, Priscilla would seemingly disagree with the reports by writing, “There is an individual that bought their way into the family enterprise that is trying to speak on behalf of our family. This person is not a representative of Elvis or our family. Please allow us the time we need to work together and sort this out. Please ignore ‘the noise.’ As I have always been there for Elvis’ legacy, our family and the fans, I will continue to forge a pathway forward with respect, honesty, dignity, integrity and love.”

Apart from Graceland, Celebrity Net Worth reported that the star and her husband Ben Smith-Petersen own a $1.3 million “cottage” in Los Angeles.
