Carrie Ann Inaba Shares News Of Exit From The Talk And Reminisces About Her Favorite Moments On The Daytime Show
It’s been confirmed that Carrie Ann Inaba is moving on from The Talk after appearing on the show for three seasons. The decision, according to reports, was a mutual one made by the chat host and CBS.
“I enjoyed my time at The Talk as co-host and moderator and I am grateful for the opportunity I had to grow with the entire Talk family as well as truly connect with viewers on such a personal level,” Inaba said in a statement. “I will miss The Talk, but I am excited for the next chapter, both for myself and for the show.”
She went on to share moments from the CBS daytime talk show that’s memorable and special to her on Friday, August 20. “I’m filled with gratitude for this experience and for this chapter in my life that has been The Talk,” she said at the beginning of the six-part video.
Inaba initially took time off from the show to focus on her mental health and take care of her auto-immune condition. Her temporary exit came a month after fellow host Sharon Osbourne left the show amid racism allegations.
“I know you guys understand health is the most important thing. I appreciate your support, and I appreciate the love and support from the Talk family, and I hope to be back soon,” the former Dancing With the Stars judge wrote at the time.
Inaba, who serves as the show’s moderator, has been co-hosting the show on a permanent basis since January 2019.
