Celine Dion Postpones European Tour Again

Celine Dion is once again postponing her “Courage World Tour”. In a video message made by the star to explain the situation to fans, the “I’m Alive” singer said that she tried her absolute best to be able to go on with the show, because she knows fans have been waiting for so long for it to kick off.

Celine Dion has been in the spotlight for decades, and those of us who are her absolute fans know that she does not disappoint when it comes to putting on a grand show that people will enjoy. From vocals to theatrics, the 54-year-old has got it down to formula, and while we have fun seeing her perform, we know that she has fun as well performing for us.

In the candid video released by the singer on Friday, she explained that her health issues are once again depriving her of the joy of hitting the stage. She revealed that she’s kept up with her treatments, and — this is happy news indeed — that she is responding positively to treatment.

She confessed that she still gets spasms from time to time, but she’s fully on the road to recovering. Isn’t that all that matters?

“I’m so sorry to have to change the dates of the European tour again; the first time it was because of the pandemic, now it’s because of my health,” she said in the video message.

She also begged for patience from her fans since the tour will now kick off in 2023.

Well, while we wait for the star to return to the stage, we can eagerly anticipate the release of “It’s All Coming Back to Me”, a Celine-Dion-themed movie starring and featuring music from the celebrated singer.

Dion To Star In “It’s All Coming Back To Me”

The film stars Priyanka Chopra Jonas as a woman who is struggling to move on from the tragic death of a fiancé. To cope with the pain, she decides to send messages to his old phone number, which has been reassigned to another man, played by Sam Heughan. The two meet and develop a connection as a result of their shared experiences.

In addition to Jonas and Heughan, the film also stars Celine Dion as a mentor who eventually inspires the two heartbroken main characters to fall in love.

The romantic drama film will release in theaters on Feb. 10, 2023.
