I mean, a mother paying a bunch of guys to kidnap her son sounds crazy. The only way it’s not going to sound absolutely bonkers is the way a close source just put it. Reportedly, Cher was just being a good mother to her son who’s going through a lot in his life at this point.

Source Says Cher Paying Men To Kidnap Her Son Was Done With the “Best Intentions”

This past week will go down in history as the weird time Cher’s very own daughter-in-law accused her of paying men to kidnap her son.

However, a source speaking to Page Six cleared it all up, saying that Cher’s purpose stems from a place of love and motherly instincts.

“Cher’s kids are the important things in her heart … I’ve no doubt that whatever she has done for Elijah has been with the greatest and best intentions possible,” the source told Page Six. “It’s obviously hard to be the child of an icon.”

The source then said that “it’s a shame” that news of his ill health is surfacing, especially since he has been doing so well lately.

Interest in Allman’s health was sparked when a picture of him looking dishelved at Los Angeles’ Chateau Marmont Hotel surfaced online.

The Daily Mail Later Reported That He’s At A Pasadena, California Rehab Facility Undergoing Treatment.

“I am currently unaware of my husband’s wellbeing or whereabouts. I was told by one of the four men who took him that they were hired by petitioner’s mother. Since August 2022, I have been told that I am not allowed to see or speak to [Allman] who is currently in lockdown at a treatment facility that is undisclosed to me. I am also told [Allman] has no access to his phone,” Marieangela King wrote in the court documents at the time. “I understand his family’s efforts to make sure he is well, and I want what is best for my husband.”

Allman, Cher’s youngest son, has been open about his struggle with substance abuse and how that has affected his relationship with his famous mother in the past.
