Masked Singer Reveals Nicole Scherzinger’s Replacement

The Masked Singer spoilers reveal that panelist Nicole Scherzinger will do her best in season 10 to figure out the celebrities crooning under those masks. But for season 11, Nicole will depart, at least temporarily.

Masked Singer Spoilers – Nicole Scherzinger Returns To Season 10 Panel

This autumn, Nicole Scherzinger will participate on the Masked Singer panel for season 10. But she will star as Norma Desmond in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Sunset Boulevard in London during taping of season 11. And so the show chose singer/songwriter Rita Ora as her temporary replacement, according to Variety.

Ora knows the format well, having served on the panel for the Masked Singer UK. And so her participation on the U.S. version with panelists Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg and Robin Thicke should go smoothly. Season 11 has begun filming and likely will air in mid-season.

But Scherzinger’s fans can still enjoy her in season 10 of the Masked Singer, which filmed earlier this year. After a special episode that unmasked Demi Lovato, the Masked Singer will return on Wednesday, Sept. 27 at 8 p.m. ET to begin the rest of season 10. 

Masked Singer Spoilers – Rita Ora To Star In Season 11

Rita has become famous for performing four number one UK singles. And she also holds the UK record for the most Top 10 singles for a British female artist.  Her singles include Praising You (feat. Fatboy Slim) and You Only Love Me.

But beyond her music, Ora has appeared in the Fifty Shades of Grey franchise, Pokémon: Detective Pikachu, and Twist. And in addition to the Masked Singer UK, Rita appeared in reality TV shows such as The Voice Australia and The X-Factor UK. Fans can also look for Ora starring with  Jamie Foxx and Robert De Niro in the film “Tin Soldier” and with Brandy in “The Descendants” sequel “The Rise of Red.”

As for what to expect in season 10 of the Masked Singer, a new format will involve three groups followed by Battle Royale semi-final episodes. However, season 10 will welcome back the Wild Card contestants. And the panelists also can use their power to save a contestant from getting eliminated.

Masked Singer Spoilers – Get Ready For Theme Episodes

Season 10 of the Masked Singer will feature a total of sixteen celebrity singers. But the costume department has done its best to disguise those celebrities. And new costumes will include “Donut,” “Anteater,” “Hawk,” “Hibiscus,” “Diver,” “Gazelle,” “Royal Hen” and “S’More.”

In addition, the tenth season of the Masked Singer will welcome back celebrities who previously got revealed. And producers have planned a line-up of episodes with themes. Those themes include a tribute to Elton John; a “Trolls Night” linked to the November release of DreamWorks Animation’s “Trolls Band Together”; a “Harry Potter Night” scheduled for Halloween week, “NFL Night”; “One Hit Wonders”; “Disco”; “2000s Night”; “I Wanna Rock”; and “Soundtrack of My Life.”
