Chris Pratt reprises his role as Lieutenant Commander James Reece in Amazon Prime’s The Terminal List Season 2. The second season is based on Jack Carr’s novel True Believer, and it premieres in August this year. This weekend, Chris went on social media and pointed out a major drawback to some of the props he uses.
The Props Bring Problems
On June 7, Chris took to his Instagram account and posted a reel that showed him taking a meal break while filming. He looked like he’d been cast away on an island for some time, as he had long hair, a mustache, and a beard. While he complimented the makeup and props people, he also revealed something of a downside.

It sounded a bit gross to Amazon Prime fans, as the son-in-law of Arnold Schwarzenegger explained more about it. “Isn’t this hair and makeup incredible?” he asked. Then he talked about his meal and revealed that the fake beard and mustache are a bit of a downer. When he eats, he gets hair in his mouth. So, he added, “it’s definitely someone else’s hair, and you don’t know whose, where it came from.”
Maybe he’s used to it, because Chris Pratt didn’t stop eating, saying, “I’m hungry.” Instead, he seemed not to even care about it. However, people agreed that he looked so different in his role. He’d even pointed out in his caption, “Is it? No… can’t be.”
Fans React To The Reel
Many people were impressed by the way Chris looked so different as James Reece. One of them wrote, “Nice to see that 1973 Kris Kristofferson is still getting work.”
Another follower told the actor, “This is exactly how I imagine James Reece looking on the boat. I’m already excited.”
You might recall that Season 1 ended with the Navy SEAL completing his kill list in Syria during “Operation Odin’s Sword.” In the final scene, Reece was on a small boat, tearing up a drawing given to him by his daughter Lucy (Arlo Mertz).
As Chris Pratt also showed fake blood on his hands, someone thought, “…the blood on his hands from the tuna he caught? Maybe?”
Praise For The Actor
Other fans spoke about how Chris does such a great job as an actor. There might be some downsides, like eating human hair that doesn’t belong to him, but he certainly plays his role very well. An admirer wrote, “Hollywood’s finest. Great personality & superb actor. Keep on rockin’!”
Someone else wrote, “I love your work, Chris. Please keep making movies.”
What do you think about the way the props and makeup transformed Chris? Do you agree it must be a bit gross to eat someone else’s hair with a meal? Shout out in the comments below, and come back here often for all your entertainment and celebrity news, and updates.
