The “Selling Sunset” star visited The Kelly Clarkson show to talk about her failed romance with actor Justin Hartley. But the chat wasn’t much about heartbreak and moving on as it was about moving on in the most iconic way possible.

The star opened up about selling her wedding ring from Justin Hartley in order to purchase her $3.3 million home located in Hollywood Hills.

“When sometimes life gives you lemons, sometimes you’ve gotta add a little vodka,” she said. “I was trying to, you know, make the best out of a situation. So yeah.”

To this, Kelly Clarkson agreed, saying, “I mean, what are you supposed to do, keep wearing it? I think that’s amazing. You did something good with the money.”

In case you don’t know how the flame between Justin and Chrishell burned and died, Chrishell and Justin tied the knot in 2017 and remained married until 2021.

On Season 3 of “Selling Sunset”, the couple’s hugely dramatic breakup and subsequent divorce was covered. Talking of dramatic, you’ve just got to know that Justin told Chrishell that he filed for divorce over a text message, a mere 45 minutes before the news went public, like what?

“I found out because he texted me that we were filed. Forty-five minutes later, the world knew,” Chrishell Stause revealed at the time.

Chrishell Stause – Failed Relationships

However, Justin has also moved on and is now married to his former “Young and Restless” co-star Sofia Pernas. While the revelation made Chrishell understand a bit of the puzzle surrounding her failed relationship with Hartley, it helped her get “closure”.

“I feel like the world heard that.” She then addressed the cameras, “My ex-husband Justin is remarried to someone I know from back in the day, pretty well, and a lot of things made sense after finding that out. I wish them the best. You know, I think that actually, if anything, it felt good to know that. It felt like a little bit of closure.”
