The Chrisley family, from Chrisley Knows Best and Growing Up Chrisley, will return to television, and now the whispers have become reality with confirmation that Savannah Chrisley finally landed a platform that will air it. Read on for more information.
No ‘Ditsy Blonde’ Performances
Recently, Savannah told Lara Trump on Fox’s My View that their family show was a rehearsed comedy, and people don’t take her seriously because of the “ditsy blonde” role she played.

Well, the new show won’t be a comedy and slots into the format of a docuseries. People Magazine reported this week that the show will appear on Lifetime.
In their “exclusive,” the outlet noted that the announcement arrived “two years” after the shows were dropped from the USA Network.
There’s no name for the new project yet, so for now, it’s filming as The Untitled Chrisleys Project. Expect the family to address the “raw truth of their lives,” offering a deeper and “unfiltered” look into their changed circumstances.
The Cast
All of the cast members are familiar to fans who watched the original shows. They include Savannah, her brother Chase, college student Grayson, and Chloe, the adopted child of Kyle Chrisley. Notably, fan-favorite grandma, “Nanny Faye” Chrisley, also returns.

Todd and Julie Chrisley can’t appear in the show as they are currently serving their federal prison sentences for bank fraud and tax-related offences.

Much of the new show will focus on the impact the imprisonment had on the family. Interestingly, fans might see quite a lot of Julie’s parents, Harvey and Pam.
More About The Storyline
The outlet noted that the imprisonment of Todd and Julie left the family at “a critical point in their lives,” as they now face “the challenge of carrying on the Chrisley name and legacy on their own with only phone calls and brief visits with their incarcerated parents.”

No doubt, Chrisley family fans will see a lot about the efforts by Savannah to secure a pardon for her mom and dad. If you don’t know, she’s been spotted at the White House often in the past months, and met with Trump’s Pardon Czar, Alice Marie Johnson.
Fans will see Savannah trying to parent her younger siblings, Grayson and Chloe, and the focus for Chase Chrisley will be on him “addressing some life struggles while building his new business and navigating his relationship with girlfriend Jodi.”
Recent social media posts from Chase showed him filming with Nanny Faye.
Taken Time To Get There
It’s taken time to get the show on the road, so to speak, and a setback came when Savannah backed out of a project. At the time, we reported that she claimed “there were some things that were done that I did not like.” She added, “I stepped away, and I said, ‘I’m done. I am not working. I’m not getting myself in a situation I don’t feel comfortable and safe in.'”
When will the new show air? There is no exact premiere date for the show, but Lifetime plans on a release sometime this year.
