Todd and Julie Chrisley, formerly on Chrisley Knows Best hope for a pardon from President Donald Trump, and after a new article by a mainstream media outlet on March 9, critics fear that it might happen. Perhaps Savannah Chrisley isn’t being all that deluded after all. 

The Pardon In The Pipeline

On his first day in office, President Donald Trump did not pardon Todd and Julie Chrisley for fraud and tax-related offenses. However, critics who celebrated soon lost some joy when Savannah Chrisley revealed an official document applying for one. Furthermore, their legal team confirmed a pardon brief was in the pipeline. 

Despite visits to Mar-A-Lago and the White House, many people felt that Savannah stood no chance of ever getting a pardon. Nonetheless, Attorney Alex Little explained in great detail on Savannah’s Unlocked podcast, the flaws in the prosecution’s case. And, he might find success with the Trump Administration.

Article Explains A Different Pardon Approach

The New York Times noted that Trump believes there’s been a “weaponization of the justice system.” Of course, he believes he was a victim of that. So, the appeals process now factors that in. The outlet wrote:

The new administration has a team of appointees focusing on the process early in Mr. Trump’s term, with a particular focus on clemency grants that underscore the president’s own grievances …

This might open the door for people like Todd and Julie Chrisley to get their cases considered for political reasons. Is that why Todd made a big noise about his MAGA sticker being taken away from him? And, is that why Savannah likened her dad’s imprisonment to Trump’s arrest? 

Fears Of A Pardon By Critics

It seems that the Chrisley family has hundreds of thousands of supporters. However, many critics also exist. And, they hope that the former USA Network stars never see the light of day again. On Reddit, the contents of the article were discussed. 

Here are some of the reactions to the possibility that the Chrisley parents might get out of prison:

• If you read the article, I’m sure they will get one. They are using a man who is working on three other ones and he put this in his brief: It’s an insiders game with Trump, they already had the insider information on who to go to for them, that was working on other ones, and they are using someone connected to him.
• These criminals are lining up knowing he is one of them, and will respond to $$$$ and influence, NOT evidence.
• With as many lives as they ruined, If they get out, their lives could be in danger. They are definitely safer in prison.
• Vigilante Justice might prevail.

The Reality Of Possible Danger?

It’s not unheard of for modern-day Americans to hold online Kangaroo courts and like the old Wild West rustle up a storm of keyboard posse members. Therefore, the critic is probably correct that there might be some danger to the family if they do get a pardon.
