Almost a week later, the news and commentaries on “the slap” seem to be picking up more steam. Okay, say what you want, but “Harry Potter” star Daniel Radcliffe is bored of it. Thank you, next.
Daniel Radcliffe – Does Not Want Another Opinion Adding To The Bombshell Oscars Slap Moment
Daniel Radcliffe, who is set to play onscreen Weird Al Yankovic, chatted with Good Morning Britain on Thursday about his latest project, the comedy adventure movie “The Lost City of Z”. During the interview, the 32-year-old actor was asked to share his opinion on the Will Smith/Chris Rock controversy, which has seen celebrities standing with either Will Smith or Chris Rock. A few who couldn’t pick a side ventured to explain that Chris Rock’s “G.I. Jane” joke was gravely wrong, but Will Smith’s reaction wasn’t any better.
However, when the time came for Radcliffe to pick a side or share his thoughts, he immediately shut down the idea.
“I saw it. I’m just so already dramatically bored of hearing people’s opinions about it that I just don’t want to be another opinion adding to it,” said Radcliffe when asked about the incident.
Daniel Radcliffe – Awkward Moments
Speaking on whether he’s faced an awkward moment at any awards show, which he started attending at a young age, Radcliffe admitted to having experienced some “awkward moments”. “I probably have. … When you’re going on stuff as a kid, you’re never quite sure if the joke’s with you or you’re the butt of the joke.”
