Ellen DeGeneres Predicts Paris Hilton’s Baby’s Name!

Ellen DeGeneres possesses many talents. But until now, no one knew that the former talk show host and comedienne could see into the future! However, Ellen just demonstrated that ability by predicting the name of Paris Hilton‘s baby.

And the 65-year-old talk show host teased Paris about the possible benefit from guessing the baby’s name. For instance, Ellen thought that perhaps the hotel heiress might want to give DeGeneres a hotel as a prize. Get all the details below.

Before the Ellen DeGeneres Show ended, the talk show host interviewed Paris Hilton. And during that segment, Ellen tried to guess the name of Paris’ baby boy. But now that the baby has arrived, DeGeneres learned that she did guess the name Phoenix successfully, pointed out Page Six.

And so Ellen couldn’t resist turning to social media to re-post the interview. “I named @ParisHilton’s baby! What do I win?!?! A hotel?!?!”  she joked in the caption of the video showing her interview with Paris. However, Hilton did respond.

And the new mom, 42, shared the same video on her Instagram Story. But at the time, Paris admitted that she didn’t even want to give clues. Because “I’m scared someone will steal the name,” explained Hilton. “No one I know” has the name yet, shared Paris.x

But Ellen successfully got Paris to offer some responses to possible baby names. For instance, DeGeneres questioned whether the baby would be named Argentina. And Hilton insisted, “Not telling you.” But the talk show host added, “We’re going to take a break then. I’ll guess it. I will … Phoenix?”

And this week, Paris proudly revealed her first baby’s name. After welcoming her child into the world with husband Carter Reum via surrogate, Hilton shared, “My beautiful baby boy’s name is Phoenix Barron Hilton Reum. And Carter and I are so proud to welcome him into the world.”

Hilton shared that the name means “hope, rebirth and transformation.” And the socialite feels it matches her future daughter’s name of London. But Paris admitted that she planned her children’s names “years and years” ago.

However, the baby’s middle name honors her late grandfather, Barron Hilton. “He was always my mentor, and I looked up to my grandfather so much, and we were so close,” shared Hilton. “And I miss him every day, so I really wanted to honor him by having his name in my first son’s name,” she said.

When Paris first shared a photo of her baby’s hand, she wrote on social media, “You are already loved beyond words.” Hilton and Reum began their romance in 2019. And in February 2021, he proposed. The couple wed nine months later.
