Elon Musk Gives 11th Baby An Odd Name, Wants Only ‘Smart’ People To Reproduce

Elon Musk and Grimes just welcomed a third baby, making a total of 11 children for the tech mogul. But based on the strange name that the couple chose, they might want to give their son some coaching on how to deal with playground bullies.

Elon Musk And Grimes Welcome Third Baby

Claire Boucher, known as Grimes, and Elon Musk have added a baby boy to their flock. And the Tesla CEO, 52, and Grimes, 35, opted to give their third child an unusual name.

Welcome to the world, Techno Mechanicus. The baby also received a nickname of Tau, according to People.

And the good news for little Tau? His older brother and big sister can commiserate over their own bizarre names. For instance, Grimes and Musk gave their first son the name X Æ A-12. That little boy then had his name changed to X Æ A-Xii and was nicknamed X after his arrival on May 4, 2020.

And the couple later welcomed a daughter born via surrogate in December 2021. They chose the name Exa Dark Sideræl and the nickname of Y for their daughter, who arrived three months after their public breakup. However, last year, Grimes shared that the two wanted more babies.

However, Grimes once announced that the couple “wanted at least three or four” children. But Musk has fathered many more than than the kids whom he shares with Grimes. And the Tesla CEO also co-parents six children with his ex-wife, Canadian author Justine Wilson.

After the tragic loss of his first son, Nevada Alexander, with Wilson due to sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS), Musk and Wilson welcomed twins Vivian Jenna Wilson and Griffin. After the twins’ arrival, Justin gave birth to triplets named Kai, Saxon, and Damian. 

And Musk subsequently welcomed another set of twins, son Strider and daughter Azure, with Shivon Zilis. But Shivon revealed that Musk believes that birth rates need to increase globally. However, the tech mogul thinks only those who qualify as highly intelligent should give birth.

And Zilis said via Page Six, “[Musk] really wants smart people to have kids.” The Tesla CEO showed his pride in expanding his flock after the arrival of his twins with Zilas. And he tweeted, “Doing my best to help the underpopulation crisis” to boast about welcoming his twins with Zilis. 

However, when it comes to the children that Grimes and Musk share, she wants to focus on parenting and educating. “I really care about having a very good relationship with my kids,” said Grimes. And she added, “I think I understand how to be a good parent to them. Both enforcing discipline and being their friend. Who knows, maybe they’ll resent me and reject family culture, but I feel like they will not.”
