Court documents indicate that Musk and Shivon Zilis became the parents of twins last autumn. Because the babies were born in Texas, the duo requested a name change for their twins. Elon and Shivon made that request because they wanted the twins to take their father’s last name. As a result of the court filing, the babies’ middle name reflected their mom’s last name.

Zilis serves as the project director at one of Musk’s companies, Neuralink. And she and Musk sought to keep the babies’ arrival private. For instance, the genders did not become public. And the twins’ names got redacted from the court papers.

But surprise! Elon just seemed to confirm all those rumors. And he indicated that he feels he fulfilled his duty by welcoming twins into the world. “Doing my best to help the underpopulation crisis,” tweeted Musk virtuously. “A collapsing birth rate is the biggest danger civilization faces by far.”

However, Musk and his project manager welcomed the twins only weeks before Elon and his ex Grimes celebrated the arrival of a baby girl in December. The baby arrived via a surrogate after the two had broken up in September. The little girl, nicknamed Y, bears the full name of Exa Dark Sideræl. And the two also co-parent a son, age 2, named X Æ A-12.

But if Elon decides to stage a family reunion, he will need an enormous table for all the children and baby mamas! With the addition of twins, Musk has fathered a total of 10 children. First wife Justine Wilson and Musk co-parent 18-year-old twins Vivian Jenna Wilson and Griffin Musk. And they also share triplets Kai, Damian, and Sax Musk. Tragically, Justine gave birth to another son, Nevada, who passed away at 10 weeks.

However, for those questioning why Elon does not use any type of birth control, he has shared his views on adding to the world. And he believes that everyone should help boost the birth rate. For instance, last year, the Tesla CEO complained that the world does not have “enough people. I think one of the biggest risks to civilization is the low birth rate and the rapidly declining birthrate,” he claimed. “Please look at the numbers –– if people don’t have more children, civilization is going to crumble, mark my words.”
