Fans Leave Miranda Lambert Show After She Makes This “Rude” Comment

The country singer recently spooked her fanbase when she asked a few concertgoers to stop taking selfies when she’s performing. This has prompted some choice words from her fans and for those present to say adios.

Miranda Lambert Says Selfie Takers Piss Her Off

At her Saturday night Las Vegas residency, Lambert stopped in the middle of her “Tin Man” performance to call out a group of fans who were not paying attention to the country song she was performing.

“I’m gonna stop right here for a second, I’m sorry,” the 39-year-old told fans in the middle of her performance of the 2016 single. “These girls are worried about their selfie and not listening to the song. It’s pissing me off a little bit.”
She continued: “Sorry, I don’t like it. At all. We’re here to hear some country music tonight. I’m singing some country damn music.”

This didn’t seat well with some fans and they immediately took their leave in a moment that was captured in a TikTok video. “Let’s go — you don’t do that to fans,” one person was heard saying. The fan reaction did not end at the concert, as they went in the comments section to give the “Palomino” singer a piece of their minds.

“Miranda didn’t even talk to our Vegas audience between songs hardly,” wrote one TikTok user. “Always in a mood. Fans can enjoy however they want. They paid.”

Another commenter thought it would have been nicer if Lambert “finished her song and just said some blanket statement.” However, what fans really wanted to know was “Who doesn’t take pictures at a concert??”

Lambert has been surprising her fans as of late, including last month when she invited Avril Lavigne to perform her “Kerosene” and “Sk8ter Boi.”

“I’m out here to make more badass moments happen right now. Will y’all welcome my new bestie, Ms. Avril Lavigne to the stage?” she said in her introductory statement, before a smiling Lavigne graced the stage to screams and cheers from the delighted crowd.
