Gigi Hadid Arrested For Marijuana Amid Zayn Malik Drama

Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills (RHOBH) featured Yolanda Hadid and her daughter Gigi Hadid for several seasons. But though both have since left RHOBH, Gigi became a supermodel. And now Yolanda’s daughter just got arrested for some very un-model behavior.

Gigi Hadid Arrested For Marijuana

Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills (RHOBH) alum Gigi Hadid recently flew to the Cayman Islands. However, the supermodel took marijuana with her on the flight. As a result, she got arrested upon arrival, reported Us magazine.

“Gigi was traveling with marijuana purchased legally in NYC with a medical license,” stated a spokesperson for the supermodel. “It has also been legal for medical use in Grand Cayman since 2017. Her record remains clear,” added the rep. “And she enjoyed the rest of her time on the island.”

Both the 28-year-old supermodel and her friend, model Leah McCarthy, got arrested when they arrived at Owen Roberts International Airport. And local news there described how custom officials discovered “ganja and utensils used for the consumption of ganja” in the girls’ luggage. However, the two had packed small amounts for their own personal use. 

And the arrest occurred because Gigi flew with marijuana from one country to another. Although marijuana is legal in Grand Cayman, the supermodel broke the laws by bringing “ganja” there from another country. The arrest records showed that Gigi and McCarthy, 29, were arrested for “Importation of Ganja and Importation of Utensils used for the consumption of ganja.”

As a result of the arrest, officials took the models to the Prisoner Detention Center. Released on bail, Hadid and McCarthy pleaded guilty. And they each received $1,00 fines. As a result, the records did not record a conviction. And pics showed the girls enjoying their vacation.

However, while Gigi settled her legal drama, her ex Zayn Malik struggles with separate legal problems. The two co-parent their daughter Khai, age 2. Malik allegedly got involved in an argument with Gigi’s mother Yolanda Hadid that resulted in four criminal offenses of harassment.

And court documents alleged that Zayn caused “mental anguish and physical pain” to Yolanda. Documents claim that he pushed the 59-year-old RHOBH alum, called her a “f–king Dutch slut,” and ordered her to “stay away from [my] f–king daughter.” However, after denying the claims, he pleaded no contest. 

And Malik took both a court-ordered anger management class and a domestic violence program. But Zayn also insisted that he sought to deal with the situation by trying to keep it private. “I knew what the situation was. I knew what happened,” he added. “And the people involved knew what happened too. And that’s all I really cared about. I just wasn’t trying to get into a negative back and forth with her [or] any sort of narrative online where my daughter was going to look back and read that.”
