On Friday, about four weeks after her split from Leonardo, Camilla sat in the front row of a Milan Fashion Week runway show. Not exactly headline news except for one fact. The show starred DiCaprio’s new girlfriend, Gigi. However, Morrone smiled for the photographers as she watched Hadid strut down the catwalk, reported Us magazine.

An insider revealed that Leonardo invited Gigi on a date for several reasons. “Because he thinks she’s beautiful of course,” said the source. “But also [she’s] a wise and cool character who’s got a very cultured and educated take on life,” added the insider. And their mutual friends approve of the new romance. 

“Everyone’s happy to see them together, even though it did catch a lot of them off guard,” commented the source. However, the insider admitted that the actor does tend to date only women under 25. “But at almost 48 he’s mellowing out a lot more and dropping hints to his buddies that he’s way less interested in that playboy lifestyle,” claimed the source.

Morrone believes that Hadid broke girl code by dating the actor, according to OK magazine’s insider. “Camila was taken by surprise when she found out that Leo and Gigi were hooking up,” claimed the source. As a result, Morrone “feels betrayed.”

The timeline has sparked questions about whether the actor and supermodel began dating during his relationship with Camila. And the insider clarified the sequence of events. “Camila and Leo were constantly taking breaks” toward the end of their romance, explained the source. “But in her mind they were not broken up” prior to the actor’s new romance.

As a result, Gigi’s and Camila’s mutual friends overwhelmingly side with Morrone, added the insider. However, neither Hadid nor DiCaprio seem troubled by the rumors that the supermodel broke girl code by dating the actor. “Gigi and Leo are the real deal,” commented another insider. “They’ve been hanging out a lot and are very into each other. Things are going well between them and they’re both happy.”
