Gigi Hadid Reveals Ways She Co-Parents Daughter Khai With Ex Zayn Malik

When it comes to co-parenting their daughter, the ex-couple Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik give it their best shot. When it comes to making time for her daughter, Gigi makes sure to be there for her.

Gigi and Zayn had their now 2-year-old daughter Khai Hadid Malk in June 2020, and the following year 2021, they called their relationship quits. Although they’ve been dating on and off since 2015, they ended things after Zayn had an altercation with Gigi’s mom Yolanda Hadid.

At the time of the incident, police report alleged that the “One Direction” alum “grabbed and shoved” the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum “into a dresser causing mental anguish and physical pain.”

Although Zayn denied getting physical with Yolanda, he did plead no contest to harassment charges and was sentenced to 360 days of probation, and asked to attend anger management and domestic violence programs.

Despite the whole brouhaha, Gigi never made any comment affirming or denying her baby daddy’s assault on her mom. However, though they broke up, they are still very much close, at least for the sake of their daughter.

In a recent interview with “The London Times” Gigi revealed that she always makes sure to schedule every of her work appointments “when Khai is with her dad.” She also went on to add, “That she can be with both parents, makes me very happy.”

When “The London Times,” asked the supermodel to dish out words of advice to other couples also co-parenting, Gigi said, “Just keeping the importance of the child’s happiness at the forefront. You have a long life alongside this person.”

Gigi also happily shared that Khai inherited a “Little bit” of the English accent from dad Zayn who is full-blooded English and hails from Bradford, United Kingdom.

Gigi said, “She’s clearly a child who was grown in my stomach eating a lot of British food—breakfast, beans, curries, and she still eats like that. She even says some words with a little [English] accent, which I love.”

While Gigi and Zayn’s relationship was on-again-off-again, Gigi has had other love interests with the likes of “Bachelorette” alum Tyler Cameron and racing driver Lewis Hamilton—this was during the times she and Zayn were on break.

Recently, she’s been sparking romance rumors with the “Wolves Of Wall Street” actor Leonardo DiCaprio. Who knows? They might be the next “It Couple.”
