Harry Styles Spits, Chris Pine Dissociates In Olivia Wilde ‘Don’t Worry Darling’ Drama!

Every so often, the drama surrounding a movie gets more attention than the actual film. And now the Don’t Worry Darling press tour has experienced that challenge. Because although cast and crew poured time and talent into their movie Don’t Worry Darling , the drama around Florence Pugh, Harry Styles, Chris Pines, and Olivia Wilde stole the spotlight!

For instance, one recent spotlight-stealing scene on the press tour featured Pine, 42, and Styles, 28. And it came amid allegations that Harry spit at Chris (ugh!). Get all the details below. 

Chris Pine – Stuck In The Middle Of ‘Don’t Worry Darling’ Movie Drama

While the art of making movies may seem glamorous, most actors suffer through rather than enjoy the endless press interviews. And one interview highlighted Chris Pine looking particularly pained. It took place when Don’t Worry Darling premiered at the Venice Film Festival, reported Page Six.

As a result of Pine’s face, the interview quickly went viral. However, Styles began the drama by responding to a reporter’s question. But the 28-year-old singer apparently bored Chris so much that Pine started to disassociate. “I think, you know, my favorite thing about the movie is that it feels like a … movie,” Styles says randomly. 

Meanwhile, Pine gazes aimlessly at the floor, looking totally blank yet somehow miserable. As a result, some fans even turned his facial expression into memes and jokes. And through it all, Harry kept trying to find something meaningful to say. “You know, it feels like a real, like, go-to-the-theater-film movie,” added the singer. “You know, the reason why you would go to watch something on the big screen,” he added.

Harry Styles – Rambling Makes Chris Pine Zone Out

However, as Styles continued, Chris tried various remedies to avoid looking bored. For instance, he contemplated the patterns in the floor. And the actor gazed off into the distance. But finally, Pine seemed to surrender by completely zoning out. He clearly longed to be anywhere but in that chair stuck for endless interviews.

And of course Twitter loved the results! One popular comment about Chris’ expression compared the actor to a “white suburban mom the morning after a wine-night crying jag. De-puff and disassociate.” But while remarks about Pine disassociating went viral, others circled back to an early rumor in the Don’t Worry Darling drama.

An unusually odd rumor claimed that Harry had spit on Chris, aiming for and achieving his lap. And of course some Twitter commentators couldn’t resist coming up with jokes about that gossip. But others came up with an explanation. (And no, those denying the spit rumor did NOT believe that Styles had decided to warm up his vocals!)

One Twitter fan came up with a theory on why Chris did appear to look in his lap. And the fan tweeted, “Chris Pine just wondered where his sunglasses were after the applause. And he zoned out (likes he’s been doing all day) and realized it’s in his lap. So I am sorry to say harry styles did not spit on him.”
