Earlier reports have indicated that Riley’s grandmother, Priscilla Preseley has claimed that she and Lisa Marie’s former business manager Barry Siegel are not longer on the amendment in her trust and that Lisa Marie’s two children, Riley and Benjamin Keough, are on there instead.

However, Benjamin died of suicide back in 2020. Because of this, the amendment leaves Riley as the sole trustee of her mother’s trust. But Priscilla is fighting this as she thinks the documents were forged.

Despite the controversy, Riley seems to be taking things one day at a time. One source close to the situation says that the Hollywood star is now focusing on her work and her new show, Daisy Jones and the Six. The tipster said that working on the series “has brought a lot of joy to her life during a very hard time.”

The source continued, “She is extremely happy it had a great audience reaction and loves that many connected with the series. This project was very special to her because it reminded her a lot of her family ties to the music industry and was an ode to her grandfather, Elvis, in many ways. Riley felt deeply connected to the project and it was an exciting time seeing it come to life.”

That said, Riley is reportedly also focused on her family right now. The tipster added, “It has been a very hard year for Riley with her mother’s death and raising a baby girl while working. Her husband has been the biggest support system and Riley owes the world to him.”
