Our favorite X-Men character Wolverine will be returning back to our screens soon. Hugh Jackman — Jackman’s Plans On Getting Back Into Wolverine Form

All it’ll take Jackman to become sexy Wolverine once again is “6 months,” nothing more, nothing less. Jackman’s current physique isn’t bad at all but to be the ideal Wolverine we all loved, he’ll need nothing less than six months to make it happen.

In a recent appearance on CNN and HBO Max’s Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace? The actor, 54, explained what his routine would be like in preparation for the upcoming movie.

Hugh Jackman Needs '6 Months' To Get in Wolverine Shape For 'Deadpool 3'

“I’ve learned you can’t rush it. I’ve learned that it takes time so, we have six months from when I finish [Broadway’s The Music Man] to when I started filming. And I’m not doing any other work. I’m going to be with my family and train. That’s going to be my job for six months.”

Talking about his current physical fitness, the star of “The Greatest Showman” said, “I’m really fit right now. There’s one thing that about eight shows a week being on Broadway singing and dancing, is I’m fit. So, I’m healthy. I have a good place to start. And apologies, chickens. Run a mile. Start running now because I’m coming for you.”

Last year’s September 2022, Jackman and his longtime Nemesis Ryan Reynolds, 46, who played the “Deadpool” character announced in a video the return of Jackman as Wolverine in the Marvel film.

According to Reynolds, he ran out of ideas on what to include in his film sequel so he asked Jackman if he would be willing to return and Jackman obliged.

Hugh Jackman — On Wolverine And Deadpool

Onscreen and offscreen Wolverine and Deadpool are known to be archenemies. This has gone on for years and Wolverine considers Deadpool his nemesis.

The upcoming Deadpool 3 will see the two characters starring opposite each other and according to the comic books, they actually “hate each other.” Last December, Jackman told “The Empire Film” Podcast that, his Logan character can’t stand Reynolds’ character.

“Let’s just talk from my [perspective],” said Jackman while laughing, “[Logan is] annoyed by him, frustrated by him, wants to be a million miles away from him or punch him in the head. Unfortunately, he can’t be a million miles away from him in this movie, so I’m probably gonna punch him in the head a lot.”
