Ian Ziering Breaks Silence On Bikers’ Attack

Beverly Hills, 90210 alum Ian Ziering has ended his silence about a horrifying attack from a group of bikers. And the 59-year-old shared the details via Us.

“Yesterday, I experienced an alarming incident involving a group of individuals on mini bikes,” revealed the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum. And he described how he became “stuck in traffic. My car was approached aggressively by one of these riders, leading to an unsettling confrontation.”

And Ian described on social media why he left his car at that point. “In an attempt to assess any damage I exited my car. This action, unfortunately, escalated into a physical altercation, which I navigated to protect myself,” added the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum.

However, video footage of the attack revealed Ziering in an altercation with a group of individuals riding motorized minibikes on Hollywood Boulevard. And the TV star revealed that his daughter Mia, 12, rode with him in the car amid the incident. But both stayed safe.

Ziering shares Mia and daughter Penna, 10, with his ex-wife Erin Ludwig. And he added, “I am relieved to report that my daughter and I are both completely unscathed. But the incident has left me deeply concerned about the growing boldness of such groups who disrupt public safety and peace.”

And the TV star shared his belief that the altercation “highlights a larger issue of hooliganism on our streets and the need for effective law enforcement responses to such behavior. As a citizen and a parent, I find it unacceptable that groups can freely engage in this kind of behavior.” And Ian attacked those “causing fear and chaos.”

Ian Ziering Begs For Officials To Take Action

But Ziering also feels that “the response from authorities seems insufficient.” However, the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed that they received reports that a fight occurred after bikers drove recklessly in the area of Hollywood Boulevard and Highland Avenue area. But Ziering and the bikers all had left the scene.

And the official police report lists Ziering as the victim. However, the police did not make any arrests at this time, with the investigation continuing. And the TV star pleaded for “decisive action” from officials after the altercation.

“I have always been an advocate for standing up against intimidation and misconduct,” shared Ian. “And this incident reinforces my belief in the importance of personal and community safety. We must address the underlying issues that lead to such disruptive behavior and ensure that our streets are safe for everyone. I urge city officials and law enforcement to take decisive action against such lawlessness.” And he also urged that officials “provide the necessary resources to prevent future occurrences.”
