Is Angelina Jolie Launching A New Clothing Line?

Angelina Jolie had been involved with clothing lines before now. However, this time, it seems different from her Maleficent clothing line for kids with Stella McCartney in 2014.

One thing though, is if it’s a line from the movie producer, screenwriter, and author, it will more than likely be sustainable. Actually, not having to change style all the time to keep up with the trends might be nice for a change. 

Angelina Jolie – Stepped Away From UNHCR

Apart from being a devoted mom to her six kids, the famous actress dedicated a lot of years to working as an ambassador for the UN refugee agency UNHCR.

In fact, fans were surprised that after two decades, she announced that she was leaving. However, it wasn’t an act of retirement,. Instead, she said, “I will be working now with organizations led by people most directly affected by conflict, that give the greatest voice to them.” 

Recently, Angelina Jolie was spotted with Mayer de Rothschild and they both seem dedicated to campaigning on behalf of global issues. Since she stopped working with UNHCR, she used her influence to highlight the genocidal issues of the Yazidi people in Iraq.

Additionally, she helped to spread awareness about the earthquakes in Syria and Turkey. Actually, she also really works hard to keep kids that suffer in the limelight. So, will her rumored clothing line be associated with that? 

Angelina Jolie – Takes A New Direction?

US Weekly reported this week, that she “filed to trademark Atelier Jolie — a goods and services company that aims to offer jewelry, handbags, and clothing.”  Apparently, she had been working on it for quite a login time. Additionally, it might extend beyond clothing to things like linen. 

Some fans of Angelina Jolie don’t believe she will really launch the line of clothing. Several Twitter accounts mentioned why. One of them, @THENAGODOFWAR wrote, “Take this with a grain of salt: reportedly Angelina Jolie is trying for trademarks for a jewelry/clothing line. She had one before called Style of Jolie & proceeds went to her Education Partnership for Children of Conflict charity.”

Angelina Jolie – If It Happens Will Proceeds Help Others?

Angelina Jolie seems to be the sort of person who would always help others first. So, if it comes to anything, it might possibly be to highlight those who have lost everything rather than those who can afford to wear expensive fashion and apparel.  Time will tell what she does with the trademark.
