It looks like he’s going to have to sell more than just shoes in order to keep the lights on. There’s a new report that suggests Donald Trump might be forced to sell his beloved Mar-A-Lago home in West Palm Beach, Florida just so he can foot the bill for the $350 million he owes from the civil fraud lawsuit that he was slapped with by the state of New York City. Unfortunately, Donald has a deep hole in his pocket. In addition to the $350 million that he owes New York City, he also has to pay $87,000 a day in interest for that debt.

If that weren’t enough, he also owes E. Jean Carroll $88.3 million in that lawsuit too. Carroll alleged that Trump had sexually assaulted her back in the 1980’s.

So, is Donald Trump going to sell Mar-A-Lago? Clearly, that’s what everyone wants to know. New York-based attorney Colleen Kerwick thinks it might be a possibility. She told Newsweek in a new interview, “Florida is a debtor’s haven.

The homestead law in the Florida Constitution protects an unlimited amount of value in your residential home from judgment creditors.”

Now, whether or not Donald does end up selling his beloved home remains to be seen but for now, the former president has not made any comments about the matter. Instead, he’s focused on doing everything that he can to win another term in office.
