Jenna Ortega Hopes Lady Gaga Would Star In ‘Wednesday’ Season 2

With the way people loved the first season of Netflix‘s comedy-horror series “Wednesday,” they can’t wait to set their eyes on the second season of the film.

One thing about the “Wednesday” series which has been making rounds, is the dance choreography that was featured in episode 4. The dance steps which was choreographed by the star of “Wednesday” Jenna Ortega found it’s way to TikTok and has since been recreated with different songs.

However, the current and most popular song which the dance steps is being used for is Lady Gaga‘s latest “Bloody Mary.” Fans recreated the dance from its original song “Goo Goo Muck” by The Cramps to Lady Gaga’s “Bloody Mary.” That helped skyrocket the song into getting to the Billboard Hot 100 chart, as fans can’t seem to get enough of it.

Due to the viral clips of Jenna’s dance steps with Gaga’s Bloody Mary, Gaga also jumped in on the trend and made a video of herself showcasing Jenna’s moves in her song.

In an interview with Variety, the star of “A Star Is Born” was asked if she would love to co-star with Gaga in the next season of Wednesday, she affirmed that she would.

Speaking to a reporter on the red carpet ahead of the Golden Globes 2023 about the idea, Jenna said, “I’m sure Netflix would love that.”

When asked further about the role she thinks would be suitable for Gaga in the movie, Jenna replied, “I think Mrs. Thornhill and Wednesday had this weird mentor relationship or kind of understood each other in a certain way, so, if Lady Gaga were to be a part, I think it would have to be two monsters that understand each other.”

Jenna Ortega — Jenna’s First Encounter With Lady Gaga

Jenna also shared the first time she had the opportunity to speak with the singer. It was through her hairdresser who also happened to be Gaga’s hairdresser.

“It’s really strange. You know what’s funny? A long time ago I worked with a hairdresser that worked with Gaga and I just had seen Gaga in concert a few years before. [The hairdresser got] Gaga [to make] me a video saying she heard I was a fan. Gaga made me a sweet video. I doubt she remembers. But to see her to do that now…it’s one of those moments you realize life changes really fast.”

Jenna also shared that while talks of a second season is ongoing, she has no idea what it would be about, for she is only an actor who does what she’s told.

“I have seen nothing and I know nothing. As the actor you’re told what to do. I’m waiting on it! I think they’re just starting to get a writers room together so we’ll see.”
