Jennifer Aniston Is Ready To Start Dating Again: Here’s What She’s Looking For In A Man

Jennifer LopezIt’s been three years since Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux called it quits, and while the two might as well be the “friendliest exes”, Aniston feels “it’s time” to start dating again. But she’s just not looking for the next cute guy, this time she knows the qualities she wants in her prospective mate and she’s keeping a lookout for the right person that will sweep her off her feet once more.

Jennifer Lopez Candidly Opens Up About Finding Love

Jennifer Aniston appeared on Tuesday’s (Sept. 28) episode of Bruce Bozzi’s podcast, SiriusXM’s Lunch with Bruce. At the start of the interview, Bruce asked the actress, “Are you dating anybody?” Jennifer replied that she wasn’t seeing anyone at the time, but went on to explain that she’s definitely interested in finding someone to share her life with.

When the host questioned her on what qualities she’s looking for in her future mate, she explained that she finds the spark of a first kiss “pretty important”. Feeling comfortable around the person is something that she craves for in every relationship before deciding whether she would get serious about it or not. “The ease at which the conversation flows the first time. That’s kind of a good indicator, confidence, but not cockiness. Humor, please I beg of you, beg of you. Generous, um, kind to people, you know, it’s just very few necessities.”

She also stressed the importance of physical fitness to her, adding that it “is important and not just about like how you look, let’s, let’s, I want to be around here for a long time and not be in a wheelchair when I am 80.”

As for the reason the “Bounty Hunter” star – who divorced her second husband Justin Theroux in 2018 – hasn’t been dating, she blamed the COVID-19 pandemic for keeping her from being interested in doing so. “Although people seem to have met and found love during COVID,” she said. “I don’t know how it works. I’m curious to walk up to those people and go. ‘So what, how did, what happened?’”

“I mean, I have my wonderful, there’s been no, no one of importance has hit my radar yet,” she added. “But I think it’s, I think it’s time. I think I’m ready to share myself with another, so I didn’t want to for a long time and, and I loved really, being my own woman. Without, um, being with, being a part of a couple where I’ve been a part of a couple since I was 20. So there was something really nice about taking the time.” Turning to Bruce, she then asked, “Why, do you have someone you want to set me up with?”

Jennifer Aniston On Finding Love Outside Hollywood

Jennifer Aniston has dated some high profile men during her decades in the spotlight: Brad Pitt, Vince Vaughn and John Mayer, to name a few.

She has remained close and friendly with most of her exes, but that’s not keeping her from finding love again. This time round, the “Friends” alum would love to try something new and date someone that’s not famous or necessarily involved in the industry.

“That’s what I’m sort of hoping for is not necessarily somebody in the industry itself,” she told PEOPLE during a mid-September interview, adding, “That’d be nice.”
