Jennifer Garner Refers To Her Teddy Bear As The ‘Love Of My Life’ During A Home Tour

Jennifer Garner has opened up about a special sentimental item in her life—her childhood teddy bear. In a snippet shared from her Los Angeles home tour for Architectural Digest, the 52-year-old actress took to Instagram on September 8 to reveal the significance of the plush toy she calls “the love of my life.”

“I think it’s the overalls ‍,” Garner captioned the post, which featured a clip of her holding the light brown bear in her bedroom.

The 13 Going on 30 star shared that the bear, affectionately named TBear, was a cherished gift from her father, William John Garner, who gave it to her when she was three years old, ordering it from the Sears catalog.

Adding to the nostalgia, Garner mentioned that her mother sewed a pair of overalls for the bear, which it still wears to this day.

Garner’s – Personal Space and Taste

As she showed off her cozy room, Garner described the feeling she wanted to achieve in her personal space. “I knew I just wanted something that felt tight, compact,” she explained, emphasizing that it wasn’t a space where she needed a lot of extra room.

Engaging in a playful moment with her stuffed companion, she asked, “Do you like it, TBear? Yeah, TBear likes it,” making it clear just how much the toy still means to her.

The tour also offered a glimpse into Garner’s design taste, with her bed adorned in dark blue cushions and a matching blanket, and large curtains framing windows that opened onto what looked like an outdoor porch.

To further illustrate the deep connection she has with her bear, Garner shared an old childhood photo where she’s seen beaming while holding TBear.

Garner – Is Such A Private Person

Reflecting on the home tour, the Alias alum admitted that she is typically very reserved about sharing her personal space, but felt compelled to offer this inside look for specific reasons.

“I’m such a private person about my home, and here I’ve just taken you through the entire house,” she said. Garner, who shares three children—Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12—with her ex-husband Ben Affleck, expressed her immense pride in what she’s built over the years.

“I’ve never built anything all by myself before, and I’m so proud of it,” Garner explained, adding, “I am filled with gratitude every time I walk into my house. I’m so lucky to live here, and even luckier to have my kids here.”
