Jennifer Lopez In Dog War With Ben Affleck Over Pet Poop Pickup

Ben Affleck recently spent time with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner. And all seemed well. But a new report describes a very different situation in Ben’s marriage to Jennifer Lopez. 

And insiders claim that the topic of pet poo has divided Lopez and Affleck. Keep reading for all the details of their dogged battle.

Who doesn’t adore a man who coos over his beloved dogs? Well, insiders told Heat magazine that Jennifer Lopez doesn’t exactly feel thrilled about hubby Ben Affleck’s approach to the poo that their pet menagerie produces.

And if asked, Jennifer might even debate over who ranks as the biggest poo-producer in her home.

But Lopez faces a challenge in balancing professional and personal time. For instance, she co-parents Ben’s children with Jennifer Garner (Violet, 17, Seraphina, 13, and 11-year-old Samuel). And Jennifer also co-parents her twins Max and Emme, 15, from her marriage to Marc Anthony. But then come the animals.

And Ben reportedly doesn’t do his duty in caring for the eight dogs and a cat in their $60 million Beverly Hills mansion. As a result, Lopez feels fed up with the way that Ben won’t discipline their pets.

And an insider called the situation at their home “a complete zoo. Jen swears she’s the only one who ever deals with their mess – she’s always nagging Ben to help out more and to at least pick up their poop. His answer has been to hire a company to pick up the mess for them. Which really bugs Jen, because he’s more than capable of doing for it himself, so in her view, he’s just being lazy.”

However, Lopez does adore pets. For instance, the songstress has cared for her boxers Roxy and Bear, labradors Lady and Bunny, mastiff Champ, and Goldendoodle Tyson. And Jennifer adopted a cat, naming it Hendrix, a few years ago.

Ben became the pet daddy to a German Shepherd named Hutch, then adopted a golden retriever mix. But Jennifer hates the poo as much as she loves the pets. However, the dogs prefer the actor.

And an insider shared, “The dogs especially can’t seem to get enough of Ben. They all race to him when he walks in the room. If he leaves the house, they start whining and want to follow him. Basically, he gets all the perks, with none of the work, which is one of Jen’s biggest frustrations with him.”

But Ben “jokes that she’s jealous of the dogs, but Jen feels there’s a passive-aggressive undertone to it,” added the insider. “Jennifer is confrontational, but Ben’s style is to do these micro-aggressions and get under her skin that way. It’s pretty childish and not very healthy.”

However, a convenient Poop 911 van regularly comes to Jen and Ben’s mansion. Known as a pooper scooper service, the company promises to “remove pet waste year-round and will even clean, disinfect, and deodorize decks, patios, and dog runs.”
