Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck lasted longer than any of us thought they would, in all fairness. But, rumor has it the inevitable has finally arrived and the famous couple is on the fast track to a divorce. The fact that Ben Affleck isn’t helping Jennifer Lopez promote Atlas in Mexico speaks volumes about the break-up rumors. But, the way J-Lo reacted to paparazzi mentioning his name definitely confirms the divorce rumors.

Ben Affleck Divorce Rumors Heat Up

Lopez took the stage with actor Simu Liu in Mexico City to answer press questions about her Atlas movie. But, they weren’t very far in to the panel when the paparazzi began questioning her about the Ben Affleck divorce rumors.

A reported called out, “Is your divorce with Ben Affleck real? These rumors? What is the truth? Para le press le Mexicana [for the Mexican press], what is the truth of the situation?”

Simu Liu jumped to Jen’s defense and scolded the reporter for bringing up her personal life when they were there to talk about Atlas. Liu snapped back “Okay we’re not doing this” and went on to praise Jennifer Lopez for her work on the Netflix film.

Jennifer Lopez Claps Back

Jennifer Lopez stared down the reporter and responded, “You know better than that.”

J-Lo’s week of premieres has been plagued with scandal after People Magazine broke the news that her marriage to Ben Affleck was in trouble and the couple are currently living apart. 

Some fans think it may all be a publicity stunt to boost Jennifer Lopez’s new movie. But, when you take Jen’s raw response to the press in to consideration, there may be some truth to those divorce rumors after all.
