Jeremy Renner Health Updated After 14,330-Lb Snow Plow Runs Over Actor!

Ever since news broke that actor Jeremy Renner had suffered a traumatic injury involving a snow plow, fans have sought to get more information. But until now, details have remained few. However, officials finally gathered together enough information to give a press conference.

Jeremy Renner – ‘Run Over’ By Snow Removal Machine

During a press conference this week, authorities offered more information for anxious fans about actor Jeremy Renner’s potentially deadly accident.

And Washoe County Sheriff Darin Balaam revealed that Renner got “run over” by an “extremely large piece of snow removal equipment.” That equipment weighed “least 14,330 pounds,” added the Washoe County Sheriff, according to Page Six.

However, the accident actually occurred when Jeremy had climbed off the machine. It happened when Renner tried to get a stuck vehicle to move. The actor succeeded, getting off the equipment and chatting with a family member. But then the equipment began to roll.

Balaam shared during the press conference that Jeremy’s PistenBully got “stuck.” And so the actor tried to “retrieve” it and “get [it] moving.” But after Renner finished that task, he stood near the machine when it started moving. The sheriff explained, “In an effort to stop the rolling PistenBully, Mr. Renner attempt[ed] to get back into the driver’s seat of the PistenBully. Based on our investigation, it’s at this point that Mr. Renner [was] run over.”

Jeremy Renner – Health Update After Traumatic Accident

However, Balaam clarified that Jeremy had not been “impaired at all” during the “tragic accident.” And the sheriff also noted that no foul play is suspected. Thus far, the Oscar nominee remains in “critical but stable condition” in Nevada after the accident.

Because of the remote location, Renner needed to get airlifted to a hospital. He then underwent surgery. And the actor suffered numerous injuries, including “blunt chest trauma.” However, he finally felt well enough to post a selfie from the hospital on Instagram.

“Thank you all for your kind words. 🙏,” wrote Jeremy. “I’m too messed up now to type. But I send love to you all.” And Renner received even more love than he sent. For instance, many of his fellow Marvel franchise co-stars offered their prayers in the comment section.

And Chris Hemsworth shared that he wished Jeremy “speedy recovery buddy. Sending love your way!” Chris Evans called his co-star “tough as nails.” And Chris Pratt posted, “Continued prayers your way brutha.” Renner shares custody of his 9-year-old daughter Ava with his ex-wife Sonni Pacheco.

Thus far, Renner reportedly has survived two emergencies surgeries. And though he remained in critical condition, he now has become conscious and can talk to family members. One of the surgeries involved getting metal pins to secure his leg, according to Bar Stool Sports.
