Jeremy Renner To Return On Set Following Fatal Snowplow Accident

Jeremy Renner’s Costar Seemingly Shares the Return of the Star With Happy Post

Jeremy Renner seems ready to grace the set and start filming for the third season of his show “Mayor of Kingstown.”

He appeared to signal this return when he shared an Instagram Story from actress Emma Laird, one of his co-stars on the crime show.

The story features a picture of Renner with Laird and came with the words, “It’s happening. Back with my favourite [sic] guy next week.” Renner is watching Laird’s character eat in what appears to be a set picture.

Renner plays the character of Mike McLusky on the Paramount+ show. The character acts as a liaison between criminals, prison guards, and police in the eponymous, fictional Michigan town.

This is a noteworthy moment in Renner’s career because, if you remember correctly, he was fighting to start walking and using his body just months before following his fatal snowplow accident.

The accident took place in his property at Nevada as the actor tried to divert the vehicle from crushing his nephew instead.

Due to the nature of his injuries, the actor, who sustained blunt chest trauma, was airlifted to the hospital. He was later discharged two weeks later.

“I just feel very blessed and very lucky to be upright and walk around and to live life,” he told CNN in an October interview. “I’m very, very clear. My life is really lean, if that makes sense. There’s no fat in my life anymore. I don’t have time for that. So there’s something really beautiful about having that superpower.”

In September, Paramount+ renewed the Hugh Dillon and Taylor Sheridan-created series “Mayor of Kingstown” for a third season.
