Johnny Depp just proved he won’t let his lengthy trial against Amber Heard impact his career plans. And as evidence, Depp headed to Paris to begin filming his new movie. But fans seemed more interested in the actor’s unexpected new hairstyle!

Johnny Depp – Waves To Fans In Fringed Jacket And Braids!

Fans flocked to catch a glimpse of Johnny Depp in Paris. And the clean-shaven actor, 59, didn’t disappoint as he waved to his followers. Depp appeared relaxed as he walked briskly in a suede fringe jacket, jaunty braids bouncing on his shoulders, noted the Daily Mail.

The movie marks Johnny’s first film in over two years. French director Maiwenn Le Besco will helm the movie that features Depp as King Louie XV.  And the film also will serve as the actor’s first project in the wake of his trial win against Amber Heard.

Looking like a contender for Best Dressed Man of 2022, Depp topped his appearance with a fedora and aviator shades. Dark boots and black jeans made his printed scarf and mocha-hued briefcase stand out. And silver rings glittered on Johnny’s hand as he greeted his fans on his way to his chauffeured car.

For the next three months, fans will need to head to Paris to catch a glimpse of Johnny. Filming throughout Paris, the project will last for three months. However, most of the movie-making will take place at the Palace of Versailles, reported Yahoo.

In addition to Depp’s portrayal of French King Louis XV, the movie will feature Maïwenn, 46, as Countess Jeanne du Barry, the last mistress to Louis XV. But for Johnny, the film represents a re-start to his film career. And he gave thanks to the jury after winning against Amber Heard.

The jury “gave me my life back,” stated the eloquent actor. And he added, “The best is yet to come [for me].” As a result of Depp’s victory, industry insiders agree. For instance, one source commented, “[Johnny Depp] will work again [in Hollywood.] I do feel someone will give him a chance.”

But the insider also admitted that some risk remains in hiring Depp. However, the actor has earned a perception as “very likable and very talented,” added the source. “A studio will just have to gauge and see it worth the risk and value, but he also won public opinion. He gained a whole new fan base through this and, yes, he will be back.”
