Johnny Depp Sparks Self-Sabotage Rumors With Reportedly Risky Antics!

Johnny Depp supposedly came out of his lengthy trial against Amber Heard determined to regain his career. And in some ways, Depp succeeded. For instance, he has returned to his music and to films.

However, a new report alleges that Johnny has begun sabotaging himself. And that involves returning to some dangerous old habits. Get all the details below.

Johnny Depp – Becomes His Own Worst Enemy?!

When filming on Depp’s new film, Jeanne du Barry, began, Hollywood insiders viewed the movie as Johnny’s comeback opportunity. However, a new report claims that the actor has returned to his old ways. And that includes sabotaging himself with bad habits, according to the Daily Beast.

The rumors stem from actor Bernard Montiel dishing up gossip from the film studio. And Montiel alleged that Depp has began battling with French director Maïwenn Le Besco. “I’ve heard some noise from the shoot, very serious stuff,” shared Montiel. And he first complimented Depp, calling him an “an excellent actor, when he comes on set.”

However, Bernard then alleged that “sometimes at six in the morning the crew is ready. And nobody turns up.” As a result, the director reportedly gets angry. And then she doesn’t turn up. The resulting clash turns into Depp and Le Besco alternating no-shows.

Johnny Depp – And Comeback Film’s Director Clash

As a result of the battle between actor and director, Montiel claimed that the filming has been “going very, very badly. They don’t get on at all; they’re screaming at each other the whole time,” he added. And allegations that Johnny began the problems by turning up late repeatedly echo rumors from his Pirates Of The Caribbean franchise.

Filmed in 2015, Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales allegedly got bogged down by Depp’s “constant lateness.” And insiders described “excessive drinking, physical fights with [Depp’s ex-wife, Amber] Heard and constant lateness on set, which often left hundreds of extras waiting for hours at a time.” However, producer Jerry Bruckheimer offered a reason.

And the producer shared that Depp felt constant pressure. As a result, Bruckheimer did need to figure out how to cope with Johnny’s tardy ways. But he shared, “You’ve got to understand the kind of pressure Johnny was under in Australia.” And he recalled, “Helicopters would follow him home. There would be so many media outside his gates that trucks were feeding them. There was so much stuff made up about him: that Johnny had a fight on set and had gone back to the States, which we both read about while we were in his trailer.”

Johnny Depp’s – ‘Star Dimmed’ Due To Lateness And Alleged Drugs

However, during Depp’s trial against Amber Heard, Johnny’s agent Tracey Jacobs recalled talking with the actor about the issues. And she shared that she struggled to explain to him how his tardiness and alleged drug use hurt his career. “His star had dimmed due to it getting harder to get him jobs given the reputation that he’d acquired due to his lateness and other things,” stated Jacobs. “People were talking and the question was out there about his behavior.”

But despite that past, Depp’s new film role seemed to give him a chance for a comeback. And Netflix reportedly will license the movie to distribute in France. However, a release in North America remains an unknown.
