A heap of videos from the trial was posted on social media showing the Pirates of the Caribbean star and his lawyer openly embracing one another with plenty of hugs and what some described as flirtatious gestures. One particular clip that has received over 300k likes on TikTok showed Camille touching Johnny in what was expressed to be an intimate manner, while another video shows the father-of-two often whispering into Camille’s ear, bringing her to laughter and giggles.

The viral videos had people speculating whether Johnny Depp and his attorney Camille Vasquez were dating after having appeared to be very friendly towards one another during the actor’s $100 million defamation trial against his ex-wife Amber Heard. But according to sources via TMZ, there’s absolutely no truth in the rumor that’s generated a lot of steam on platforms such as Twitter and TikTok.

According to TMZ, “Fact is … Johnny and Camille look quite comfortable around each other … to the point that they seem to be constantly touching in a somewhat intimate manner. To that point, our sources tell us … everyone on the legal team is buttoned up, but they’ve all gotten very close to their client — it’s become both a professional relationship and a friendship.”

“As for all the smiling and giggling some have noticed between Johnny and Camille, we’re told she finds him funny … and couldn’t help but laugh at some of his antics and/or his sense of humor. 

More importantly, our sources tell us Camille is happily taken. She’s dating a British fella who works in real estate — with whom she’s been in a serious relationship for several months.”

Johnny Depp’s – Team Is Looking Forward To A Victory

Interestingly enough, though, the reputable news publication asserts that Johnny’s legal team is looking forward to a triumphant victory by the month’s end when the Hollywood star’s court case concludes, which they believe will go in their client’s favor.

A spokesperson for the 58-year-old gave a statement after Amber’s second day of giving her testimony, where she made claims such as allegedly being slapped by Johnny for laughing at one of his tattoos, being abused amid a flight on his private jet, and recalling him put his hands on her sister Whitney — all of which his legal team says are fabricated lies.

In a statement from Johnny’s spokesperson, they said, “While Ms. Heard’s stories have continued to grow new and convenient details, Mr. Depp’s recollections have remained exactly the same throughout the six painful years since her first allegations were made. His truth — the truth — is the same no matter the environment in which it has been presented.”

“The upcoming cross examination from Mr. Depp’s team will be most telling, and will certainly highlight the many fallacies Ms. Heard has now attempted to pass off as fact throughout her convoluted testimony.”

The trial will resume on May 16 when the cross-examination from Johnny’s team begins, and Amber will be put in the hot seat.
