Kanye West attended the trial of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs on Friday, but reportedly, he didn’t stay long. Depending on what you read, he either stormed out in a huff or left quietly after a short time. Read on for more details.

The Short Court Visit

The court session in the sex trafficking and racketeering case against P. Diddy has been going on for some time now. On Friday, an Eye Witness News reporter saw Kanye with Music Producer “Charlucci Finney” in an “overflow room.” He stayed for approximately half an hour and then “West quietly left the courtroom and exited the courthouse.”

Conversely, The Sun US reported that the famous rapper, after being denied entry to the main chamber, “quickly stormed out of the courthouse after reportedly being banished to an overflow room.” The report described him as looking “disgruntled” as he left the courthouse and marched back to his “Maybach.”

There To Support Combs

Reportedly, on his way into the court, the sometimes infamous rapper indicated that he was there to support Diddy. That’s hardly surprising, as he dropped his song, ‘Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine,’ on X in March. In the song, the ‘Donda’ rapper suggested that he and his daughter were looking out for Diddy’s kids. At the time, it stirred some controversy.

Apart from being sympathetic toward the man currently on trial, his former assistant, Lauren Pisciotta, pointed some fingers at Ye in October last year. She claimed that during a studio session in Santa Monica, California, co-hosted by Diddy, West drugged and sexually assaulted her after she was given a drink allegedly containing an unidentified substance. But it’s Combs’ assistant who is testifying in the current trial.

What Else Happened?

Notably, Kanye West didn’t give any evidence, and he wasn’t called to the witness stand. When he arrived, he was treated the same as anyone else who was there to watch the proceedings. Of course, he stirred a lot of excitement for reporters who were watching people being sworn in. When he departed, they rushed over to question him.

Apparently, he wasn’t keen to talk and left without dishing any juicy new details. Nevertheless, the presence of Kim Kardashian’s ex caused a bit of confusion, disrupting some official business going on outside. Meanwhile, one juror ended up being dismissed over a conflicting residential address.

Of course, Diddy’s lawyer objected and suggested it was a race-based decision. Naturally, the judge countered by saying that protection of the “integrity” of the jury selection process was vital.

None of it seemed terribly exciting, so the arrival of Kanye probably spiced up a lot of hours for those present at the trial.
