Kanye West has halted appearances in Hulu’s The Kardashians amid his feud with estranged wife Kim Kardashian. But if the rapper did want to return to the reality TV world, he could star in a show with a title like Kanye’s World Of Dating! For instance, West famously dated actress Julia Fox. And he followed her with Kim lookalike Chaney Jones. 

But now Kanye reportedly has begun dating Candice Swanepoel. However, celebrity watchers don’t seem certain about the reality of that romance. And they want to know: Does West really want to date Candice? Or have the two agreed on a secret PR stunt? Get all the details below!

Kanye West – Dating Candice Swanepoel Seems Conveniently Timed

As a result of Kanye showing up with Candice at New York Fashion Week events, celeb gossip sources insist that West and Swanepoel have begun dating. But do their appearances really mean love? Or, as insiders told Page Six, did the couple agree to stage a romance for public relations purposes? 

Candice just happens to work as the model for Kanye’s Yeezy GAP sunglasses. And sources claim that Swanepoel partying with West represents a ploy to promote the fashion accessories. Because the rapper knows the value of marketing and PR, these insiders believe he arranged the romance to publicize his products.

After showing up at a party, Kanye and Candice spent some time with Chris Rock. The rapper and the supermodel then drove off in West’s SUV. And they got spotted going to the same hotel. 

Candice Swanepoel – And Kanye West Connect Over Creativity

However, a different insider insisted that Kanye and Candice began a real romance and want to continue. And that source claimed, “Kanye and Candice are dating and their relationship is new. They’ve connected over fashion and creativity.”

But another insider doubted that the two will turn their party appearances into a long-lasting romantic relationship. And the source described it as primarily a public relations stunt. However, some intrigue cropped up in looking at Candice’s work history. Because in addition to working with West on his Yeezy Gap sunglasses, Swanepoel has modeled for Kanye’s estranged wife Kim Kardashian. For instance, the model recently took on the role of promoting Kim’s latest Skims campaign.

But regardless of the past, an insider told ET that Kanye feels “excited” about dating Candice. And the rapper, 45, feels a real connection with the model, 33, according to that source. “They like each other and are happy with how things are going so far,” added the insider. And West just shared an Instagram Story with his new girlfriend. He also featured Swanepoel in an Instagram post in which she wore his new new silver YZY shades, along with a topless pic of the model.
