As a result, the 44-year-old rapper turned to Instagram to slam the lovebirds, resulting in a flood of negative publicity. 

But now, after an initial short-lived relationship with Julia Fox, Kanye seems to have found a new love himself. As followers of Ye (as he’s also known) noticed, West has stepped out with a woman who looks like a mirror image of Kim Kardashian! An unwritten rule of romantic relationships calls for waiting to introduce a new girlfriend to the family. But Kanye West apparently felt no desire to wait. And so, though his romance with Chaney Jones remains new, Ye took her to a major family event, reported Yahoo.

However, photos indicated that Chaney stayed close to Kanye. Perhaps she understandably doesn’t feel quite at home yet in her famous boyfriend’s family? And this just happened to rank as a very important family occasion, honoring his grandmother’s 85th birthday.

So will the new romance last? A look back at what went wrong with Kanye’s romance with Julia Fox can offer a clue to Chaney. For instance, in February 2022, West allegedly dumped Fox for her public statements about their romance. As a result of Julia throwing shade at Ye for begging Kim Kardashian to take him back, Fox reportedly made it impossible for her romance with Kanye to continue.

Can Chaney Jones Hold Onto Kanye West?

However, given that Kanye West’s romance with Julia Fox only lasted a few weeks, some wonder if Chaney Jones can hold onto the rapper. But an insider offered some clues. “Chaney should just be herself and not try to imitate [Kim Kardashian]. But, if that is what Chaney wants to do to get the attention she is seeking, or win over Kanye, so be it,” said the source. 

As for any involvement from Kim herself in her estranged husband’s romance? Not likely! Kardashian reportedly wants to focus on Hulu’s new series, “The Kardashians,” her boyfriend Pete Davidson, and the four children she shares with Kanye. And Kim also needs to decide how to re-brand her perfume line, which previously included West’s initials.
