The Kardashian Curse strikes again! And this time, one of Kim Kardashian’s closest staff members has felt the impact. The employee filed for divorce just days after the family’s reality TV show The Kardashians featured his wedding. And Kim even officiated the ceremony.

A divorce just hit home for a close staff member of Kim Kardashian’s. And it also sparked rumors that the Kardashian Curse is to blame.

The saga begins when Kim’s hairstylist Chris Appleton saw his wedding featured on the Keeping Up With The Kardashians spin-off The Kardashians. And just days later, Appleton filed for divorce, according to the New York Post.

Famed as a celebrity hairstylist, Chris has created a variety of Kim’s fabulous hair styles. But his tress talents proved longer lasting than his marriage. And just six months after he tied the knot, Appleton filed for divorce from Euphoria actor Lukas Gage. As a result, rumors soared that blamed the Kardashian Curse for the breakup.

The Kardashians Spoilers – Kim Kardashian Officiates Wedding

Appleton, 40, used irreconcilable differences with Gage, 28, as the reason for the divorce in his court filing. However, in April, Chris and Lukas happily tied the knot in Las Vegas as cameras filmed the ceremony for an episode of The Kardashians on Hulu.

And Kim, 43, even officiated their wedding at the Little White Chapel in Las Vegas. However, Kardashian first delighted the grooms with a private performance of You’re Still the One by Shania Twain.

But the reality TV star, who remains in training to become a lawyer, recommended that Appleton and Gage arrange a prenuptial agreement before they tied the knot. And Kim made her recommendation on the episode of The Kardashians with a quote from her ex husband Kanye West’s Gold Digger.

“We want prenup, we want prenup,” smirked Kim. And the court documents revealed that the now estranged couple heeded the reality TV star’s advice. They did agree on a prenup.

And Khloe Kardashian’s marriage to Lamar Odom also fell apart, with the former NBA star battling addiction.
